Gemma and her best friend Beanie, two miniature horses were originally from Tazmania. Their owners asked us to take them as they were intending to return to Australia and didn’t want to put the girls through the trauma of travelling. Their owners were extremely upset to have to part with them.

Beanie has Cushings disease and is on daily medication.  Gemma, in the past couple of years has been prone to fits.  She is on medication for this and thankfully it is keeping the fits at bay.

Two lovely, cheeky little girls, they enjoy life at the sanctuary.
