Bluebell is a lovely gentle girl.  She arrived at the sanctuary from her previous owner when the vet found her too unsound for the work that was intended for her.

 

She has suffered from slight COPD (coughing) in the past and always has to have wet hay.  She loves her food, in particular her morning and evening bowls and likes to help the volunteers by ensuring that they are licked clean to save on the washing up!

 

Bluebell appears to be a magnet to flies in the summer, when she needs to wear a fly rug to keep them away from her.  

 

She is a very happy girl and lives an undemanding life of leisure.
