Chocolate was brought to the sanctuary many years ago by the Donkey Sanctuary Welfare Officer.

She had been kept in a pub yard for some time - was very nervous, jittery and absolutely terrified of people.

However, after years of kindness and encouragement plus a steady supply of her favourite ginger biscuits she has now regained her confidence in people.

A very sweet little girl, Chocolate is much loved by her friend Hutch who keep a watchful eye over her. She also regularly joins in with his mischevious pranks – but looks innocent when found out and walks away as if she had nothing to do with it!
